ETF Dividend Portfolio Update in April 2025

May 1, 2025 by moneyischoices Leave a Comment

The market has started to settle down a little after a few months of madness but all it takes to change that is another idiotic tweet. It really does feel like the lunatics have taken control of the asylum. There was a time when the lunatics were still in control but they at least tried to pretend that they were mentally stable and knew what they were doing. Now they just … [Read more...] about ETF Dividend Portfolio Update in April 2025

Dividends from the ETF Portfolio in March

April 3, 2025 by moneyischoices Leave a Comment

Another bumpy month for stocks in March but we have made it through the $22,000 road block and the ETF portfolio now starts with a 23. No thanks to Mr. Market as it was done the hard way: Adding more cash!! The only thing I wish was different about this market correction was that I had a larger pile of cash on the sidelines and ready to deploy. I don't regret not having it … [Read more...] about Dividends from the ETF Portfolio in March

ETF Dividend Portfolio Update 2025

February 11, 2025 by moneyischoices Leave a Comment

I'm 10 days late posting this update as I've had a sore foot and I've been getting around like a bear with a sore foot! I see where the term comes from now as I've been angry, irritable and ready to bite off heads! But all is well and it's now time for this bear to get back on the horse. Last year my goal for the ETF dividend portfolio was $20,000. I achieved that goal and … [Read more...] about ETF Dividend Portfolio Update 2025

ETF Dividend Portfolio Update for November

November 30, 2024 by moneyischoices 2 Comments

The first major goal I set for this ETF portfolio was $20,000 and I'm happy to say that this goal has been achieved!!! Woohoo! That feels so good to say out loud! I was hoping to reach 20k by the end of 2024 and I have done it one month early in November. I'm super proud of this achievement. You could say, it's just money, why are you so happy? And I would say you are … [Read more...] about ETF Dividend Portfolio Update for November

October ETF Freedom Making Machine Update

October 31, 2024 by moneyischoices Leave a Comment

Dividends included the quarterly payers in October so it was going to be a good month but we didn't beat the high back in July which was $130.30. Still, it was the second month above $100 so I'm pretty happy with that. The ETFs made a total of $126.98 in October. I'm hoping to break the $150 mark in January 2025 when all of the ETFs distribute dividends. October 2023 was … [Read more...] about October ETF Freedom Making Machine Update

Exchange Traded Funds Dividend Portfolio Update: September 2024

October 3, 2024 by moneyischoices Leave a Comment

The ETF dividend portfolio has increased by more than $1,000 again this month and it's not because I'm an amazing stock picker, it's because I added $1,349 in new contributions! Getting started with investing in the stock market is hard work. It's very simple, there's nothing complicated about it, but it takes a lot of effort to get the snowball rolling down the hill by itself. … [Read more...] about Exchange Traded Funds Dividend Portfolio Update: September 2024

What are Covered Call Option ETFs and Should I Invest in them?

July 21, 2024 by moneyischoices Leave a Comment

Well, that's a very good question imaginary reader and of course my answer is not investment advice because I have an independent, thinking brain that doesn't like doing what the system tells it to do. All I'm doing in this post is sharing what I have learned along my investment journey. Depending on your individual circumstances, I may be right or wrong. You have to decide for … [Read more...] about What are Covered Call Option ETFs and Should I Invest in them?

Automatic Investing with Vanguard ETF Australia

September 12, 2023 by moneyischoices Leave a Comment

Whenever anyone asks me how to get started with investing in stocks I tell them to start with an ETF (Exchange Traded Fund). I always feel a bit funny about it though as I have almost zero money invested in ETFs. So I figured I should walk my talk and jump on the ETF bandwagon like everybody else in the financial freedom movement. The reason I'm not invested in ETFs is not … [Read more...] about Automatic Investing with Vanguard ETF Australia
